PERSONAL & FAMILY TREE HEALING

Fr. Jim Cogley returned to Croi Nua to share his wisdom and experience helping people deal with personal and family healing. His special interest this year was how the unacknowledged past can still influence the present and ancestral level. Throughout this two day event there was a lot of interaction and sharing of stories, both from the large number of people who attended and from stories that Fr Jim has encountered in his ministry over the years. His beautiful woodcarvings helped to illustrate and explain many of the complex questions that arose. During Fr. Jim’s guided meditations on our ancestors, we were encouraged to embrace their gifts and burdens with openness and compassion. And also to remember that we don’t heal, God does.
