John Moriarty was a writer and philospher. Having lost his Catholic faith
as a teenager, he later returned to Christianity following a personal crisis. After
leaving his academic post, he spent his life as a gardener and a writer,
giving talks on philosophy and spirituality.
‘Our beginnings we always carry with us’
Recurring themes in his work include the importance of connecting with nature,
the power of myth and folklore, and the need to find one’s own unique path in life.
